This pretty transfer decoration is one of many designs made by Royal Worcester making their egg coddlers very desirable and collectible items. The maker’s mark can be clearly seen underneath.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese coddlers were used to gently cook eggs with the coddler placed in a pan of simmering water. They can still be used today and the egg is somewhere between a poached and a soft boiled egg. Delicious! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt stands around 8cm tall without the lid and approximately 6cm in diameter across the top.
