Carlton Ware Cabbage Leaf Dish, 1950s Retro Decor

A pretty and very retro large cabbage leaf dish. Made by Carlton Ware, the dish dates from around the 1950s. The dish measures 24cm diameter.

This beautifully shaped pale green dish is part of the Carlton Ware range. There is crazing a some discolouration to the surface glaze which is to be expected with age. The dish or bowl is quite deep and has a small 'handle' on one side formed by the stalk. It also has a foot giving it some height when standing on a table. The dish measures approximately 24cm in diameter and stands approximately 6cm high to the rim.

This is quite a large sized dish, making it ideal for use as a salad or fruit bowl. The dish is a very pretty decorative piece and would make a colourful centrepiece on a table or kitchen counter.
