Art Deco Style Sylvac Jug

Beautiful vintage Sylvac jug no 426 in a yellow and brown glaze. Designed in an Art Deco style with striking geometric shapes, this small jug is just stunning.

The vase is made from two spherical forms with a wide cone shaped top with a spout. The interior of the jug is glazed in a pale creamy yellow to compliment the exterior. The elegant handle with its two curved elements really gives the jug its Deco look. The body of the jug is also dimpled adding extra interest to the form. This jug is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The jug is fully watertight. Please check all photos carefully to ensure you are happy with the condition. The the jug bears the makers mark and model no.426. This particular variation of the Sylvac mark dates the piece from the late 1940s to late 1950’s.

We fell in love when we found this jug. It’s perfect for displaying flowers, it’s elegant and unique! It needs to be scooped up and filled with summer blooms.
