A stylish ceramic leaping deer figurine by Stewart McCulloch. Made in California, McCulloch's designs were produced around the 1950s.

This leaping deer or gazelle figurine is a fantastic example of mid century decorative design. The animated and elegant form of the deer is poised mid-leap. He is is simply coloured in brown and white and stands on a green base. To the modern eye this figurine is a classic retro piece which retains all its decorative appeal. It remains in perfect original condition but please look at all the photos to ensure you are aware of the condition.

The deer stands 23cm high x approx 17cm wide front to back

A fantastic retro piece of mid century decorative design which would look fabulous on display.
