A beautiful limited edition Coalport Whitethroat plate. This vintage white* plate has a gilt edge and features two whitethroats on yellow blossom in the centre.
This plate is in excellent condition. It appears that it has lived in it’s box since the 1980’s! There is a slight blip in the gilt edge which would have happened in manufacturing. It is barely noticeable. The colours are as vibrant as they were when manufactured. The plate is part of a limited edition British Birds of only 2,000 worldwide. This plate will hold its value and be more valuable in years to come. The plate is made by Coalport China. The maker’s mark is clearly seen underneath.
The plate measures 27 cm in diameter.
This stunning plate would be a fabulous addition to a gallery or plate wall. A great gift for a bird lover. However you choose to use it, it will be a piece to be treasured.
*the plate looks cream in some photos but it is definitely white!
