Ironstone Jelly Mould: Antique Victorian White Terrine, Fish Design

A beautiful white ironstone jelly or terrine mould from the 1800s. This pretty decorative mould has a charming handmade shape and would look lovely on display.

The mould measures approximately 11 cm high from the foot to the rim. It is oval in shape measuring 15cm across x 19 cm wide. The interior is very clean and features ribbing with a fish shape at the bottom. On the outside, the mould shows all the unevenness and character of a hand finished piece. The mould is in fabulous condition for its age with no chips or cracks and just some light wear and browning to the rim. This lovely antique piece of kitchenware, could still be used as a jelly mould but would look great just sitting on a shelf as part of your vintage decor. It could also be used to plant up winter bulbs. A classic piece of styling decor.
