Limoges Porcelain Fish Plate

A beautifully decorated plate by Limoges, France. We have eight plates available with different fish designs. Plates are priced and sold separately*. 

The plates features detailed, realistic illustration of freshwater fish with details of plants and riverbed. We have three different designs: rainbow trout, brown trout and rudd (we think!). The shallow plate has a wide border with an ornate gilded pattern. The plates are in very good condition. There are some light losses on the transfer decoration on three of the plates but these a very hard to see. There are no chips or cracks. Please look at all the photos carefully to ensure you are aware of the condition. The plates measures 26cm diameter.

As a single decorative plate, it would look fabulous on display, perhaps propped on a shelf or as part of a plate wall. In quantity, the plates would make an impressive table setting. A beautifully made piece to be enjoyed, great for a collector or as a gift for the angler in your life!
