A pair* of fabulous original lithograph prints from a portfolio of French furniture design. The prints date from the late 19th century and show the design and technical drawings for a Renaissance style dresser.
Louis Bertin was a French draftsman and furniture maker producing designs for furniture in various styles from Louis XIII to Louis XVI as well as Renaissance and Empire. The design is beautifully drawn showing all the intricate detail of a Renaissance style piece of furniture. The print is accompanied by the technical drawing sheet showing construction details and they would look great displayed as a pair. Both prints are in very good antique condition with just some yellowing around the edges. The prints measure 40cm x 30cm.
