A stunning 1950’s Collectible plate featuring Regina Pacis (Queen of Peace). Made by Rosenthal, Germany and designed by Lore Friedrich-Gronau. It was designed to commemorate the definition of the assumption by Pope Pious X11.

This plate features Mary, Queen of Heaven dressed in blue standing on a golden crescent moon, holding Jesus and flanked by angels. The colours are as vibrant as they were when manufactured with only the tiniest bit of wear to the gilt. The maker’s mark is clearly seen underneath. It comes with a metal wire hanger at the back. The plate measures 22 cm in diameter.

This exquisite plate would be a fabulous addition to a gallery or plate wall. A great religious gift. However you choose to use it, it will be a piece to be treasured.
