A fabulous large framed print of swans by Vernon Ward, made in the 1970s

Ward originally painted this famous picture in 1950. It was reproduced and sold through Boots which, in the 60s and 70s, had a thriving home furnishings department. Our print is presented in its original slim white frame and bears the boots label on the back.

Magnificent picture makes a real statement on display. the pallette of blues and greens in the water is so striking. the two swans sit serenly on the surface making barely a ripple. The chromolithograph process has reproduced Wards brushwork too, making this a very special print.

The print measures 66cm x 56cm.

This is a rare opportunity to own classic retro print. it would look fantastic in any interior and would compliment mid century spaces perfectly.
