Victorian Gentleman Portrait Print in Wooden Frame

A Victorian print of an important looking Gentleman. The print is a photograph of a painting and is mounted in a fabulous Victorian wooden frame.

This piece is in very good condition for its age. The frame is made from a solid wood like oak or mahogany. The frame has a stand and would have stood on a tabletop. You could hang it but you would need to add the fixings. There are some scratches to the wood which we have photographed. The print is laid on a cream mount. The gentleman is portrayed seated in a chair wearing a formal suit with pinstripe trousers. He appears to be holding a pocket watch in his hand. He is looking directly at the artist. The print is signed but it is difficult to read. We can make out the word “Donald “ but we are unsure if this is the artist or the sitter. There is some age related wear such as browning and a little bit of dust trapped beneath the glass. Please check photos carefully to ensure that you are happy with the vintage condition.

A really nice piece to add to a gallery wall. This rather serious looking gentleman will add a bit of kudos to your wall. Just the thing to add to a period property.
