Vintage Floral Gilded Jug

A very pretty vintage jug with a floral design. This white jug has ornate gilded decoration and a spray of purple flowers.

This jug would have been used as a pitcher for water and other beverages. It is in very good condition for its age. The gilding has faded in places, particularly on the handle. There is a little bit of discolouration in the interior. The delicate sprays of purple flowers are on both sides of the jug. Please check all photos carefully to ensure that you are happy with the antique condition.

The jug measures 21 cm high x 11 cm diameter approximately

This jug with it’s beautiful flowers and pretty gilding has that classic Victorian look. Gorgeous displayed almost anywhere. Perfect for holding bunches of spring flowers.
