Vintage Majolica Teapot

A delightful majolica teapot made in Portugal. This deep pink teapot is in the shape of a pumpkin or squash with decorative green leaves.

The teapot is beautifully made and decorated. The shape emulates a pumpkin and the leaves are beautifully sculpted in relief. This tea pot is hand painted. The teapot is in very good condition with a small amount of wear. There is a small chip on the rim of the spout but it is underneath so it is hard to see. The makers mark and model number are clearly visible underneath the teapot. Please check all the photos to ensure you are aware of the vintage condition.

The teapot measures 19 cm high x 16 cm deep. 

This charming teapot is one for the majolica collectors. It would look so pretty on display with its cheerful, bright colours. Fantastic for autumn styling but it would appeal all year round.
