A gorgeous vintage wooden chair with a flat seat and slatted back. Originally from a school, this chair shows beautiful wear and patina.

The chair is a solid construction, most likely elm and built to last. The original varnish is almost completely worn leaving beautiful greying wood. The seat has been scratched on by a child with what looks like two crosses and initials P E. The top rail of the backrest has also been written on, on both sides! Children do get bored in class! Please check all photos to ensure that you are happy with the vintage condition. 

The chair measures 85 cm tall in total- seat height is 45 cm. The seat width is 34 cm and the depth is 35 cms. 

Great little occasional chair. Perfect in a child’s bedroom or hallway. It could be painted if you so desire. A good prop too for a theatre or photography. 

All our items show wear and signs of use. Please do not buy if you are looking for perfection!
