Bohemian Ruby Glass Decanter, Hand Painted

A fabulous Bohemian Ruby glass decanter with hand painted decoration. The decanter is made from blown glass and includes a cut glass stopper.

This lovely example of Bohemian glass has a Ruby red coating with hand painted floral decoration. Eight circular dimples are ground into the surface of the thick glass around the base. The decanter is finished with some gilded detail around the rim, neck and dimples. The heavy, solid glass stopper fits snugly into the neck of the decanter. The decanter is in very good condition. There are some tiny losses to the red coating in places, but these are barely noticeable and in no way detract from the decorative appeal. Please look at all the photos to ensure you are aware of the condition. The decanter measures 22cm high including the stopper. It is 8.5cm diameter across the base.

A striking piece of antique decorative glass, the decanter would look great in use and would be a really eye catching addition to your Christmas table decor.
