Carlton ware Poppy Bowl

A pretty bowl by Carlton Ware in the poppy flower pattern. This lovely majolica bowl features two overlapping poppy flowers with leaves.

From the Carlton Ware Australian range, this medium sized deep bowl is perfect for serving salads. The colourful moulded decoration, typical of majolica pottery, extends to the outside of the bowl. The bowl is in great condition with some very minor discolouration to the glaze inside. The bowl measures 25cm x 18cm and around 6cm high.

With its summery colours, the bowl would look fabulous as part of a table setting and also makes a lovely piece to display.
