A stunning, very large porcelain vintage vase. This vase is a first edition, Franklin Mint “The Bluebirds of Summer” vase from 1985.
This gorgeous porcelain vase is part of a limited edition released by The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). The design is by well known artist A. J. Rudisill. This tall vase is beautifully illustrated with transfer illustrations of bluebirds, with a different illustration on each side. The birds are shown amongst yellow honeysuckle. The illustrations are very detailed with striking colours, making this a fabulous and eye-catching decorative piece. The vase is finished with gilt banding around the rim and base. The vase is in superb condition. Please look at all the photos to ensure you are happy with the condition.
This wonderful, now rare collector’s piece would look fantastic on display making a bold statement anywhere in your home. It would look great filled with flowers but looks equally beautiful displayed as it is.
