Jewellery Box with Cash’s of Coventry Woven Bird Picture

A pretty little jewellery box featuring an exquisite woven bird decoration set into the lid. Made by Cash’s of Coventry, the picture shows a Blue Jay swooping over blossom branches.

This box is in very good condition. Some wear to the wood on the corners and a small scuff on the top. The interior is spotless and the embroidery bird is vibrant and unmarked. Inside there is a lift out tray revealing more storage underneath. There is some gorgeous relief carved detail on the lid and around the edges. The maker’s label can be clearly seen on the bottom. Please check photos carefully to ensure that you are happy with the vintage condition. Such a lovely piece to own and use. A unique gift for a bird lover or treat yourself!
