Vintage Plane-Mate Carryall Case

A stylish vintage vanity case by Plane-Mate from the 1960s. This simple and elegant round carry case is lined with a pattern of tiny pink stars. The lid is held closed with a strong zip and the case has a strong loop carry handle.

Inside the lid is a vinyl elasticated pocket for storing accessories. The white vinyl case is so reminiscent of the days when air travel was luxurious and this vanity case may well have been part of a larger luggage set. The case is in very condition for its age. There is some evidence of rusting around the metal parts of the handle. Inside there are some minor stains. However, the case is otherwise very clean inside and out. Please look at all the photos to ensure you are aware of the condition.

The case measures 33cm diameter.

The case would make a charming styling piece in a bedroom and could of course be used for travel. It would also be a great prop for period theatre or film productions.
