A gorgeous midcentury plate crafted in Teruel, Spain, depicting a green dragon on a beige background.

Teruel is a region renowned for its historic Mudejar and Aragonese pottery traditions.
Typically this pottery is hand-painted with distinctive regional motifs, including geometric patterns, heraldic symbols, medieval creatures (such as dragons), and animals like birds or fish. This plate is signed by the artist Domingo Punter.

This plate is in very good condition with just some marks from the kiln which have been there since manufacture. The maker’s mark can be clearly seen on the back. Please check photos carefully to ensure that you are happy with the vintage condition.

The plate measures 19cm diameter.

This plate is intended for wall display or as collectible mid-century decorative art. What a fantastic piece to add to your plate wall!
