A lovely studio pottery jug hand painted with an abstract pattern in green, brown and blue.

The striking mid century design on this gorgeous jug is reminiscent of nature. This studio pottery jug is hand thrown from stoneware and has a satisfying weight. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks or losses. There is some all over crazing which is to be expected. The maker’s studio mark can be clearly seen underneath. Please look at all the photos to ensure you are aware of the condition. The jug is squat with a chunky handle and the base has been left unglazed.

This is a lovely example of mid century ceramics. Its shape and fluid pattern make it a great piece to display with or without flowers. It would look right at home in a mid century interior and would equally suit cottage or farmhouse styles.
