Vintage Dark Green Sylvac Heron Vase

We’re so pleased to have found this delightful piece of Sylvac pottery. This dark green vase is characterised by its lovely heron shaped handle.

The handle is sculpted as a heron or stork, perched on the side of the jug. The handle is the full height of the vase with the heron’s head coming up over the rim. The vase itself is designed as water lilies rising from a pond. The underside of the vase bears the Sylvac mark and the model number, 4069. The vase is in very good condition. There is a tiny patch of discolouration on the rim which we have photographed. This doesn’t spoil the vase’s appearance. Please look at all the photos to ensure you are happy with the vintage condition.

The vase measures 20cm high to the rim and approximately 15 cm diameter at the widest point (including the handle).

This is such a charming vase and a great piece to add to a collection of Sylvac pottery. It is watertight and with its quirky design it would look gorgeous with flowers on a kitchen table or shelf.
